Colorado Water
Colorado Springs has joined Denver and Aurora in imposing strict watering rules for the upcoming summer, according to the Denver Post [April 16, 2004, "Thirsty Springs sets water limits"]. From the article, "Colorado Springs residents may use sprinklers twice a week to water their lawns under a water restriction policy that is generally unchanged from last summer. Restrictions start Thursday. Storage levels in reservoirs were at 53.6 percent this week - better than last year - but well below the normal level of 77 percent for this time of year."
