U.S. Representative Bob Beauprez is heading over to Grand Junction to gauge support for his quest to succeed Bill Owens according to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel. From the article, "Bob Beauprez, who would leave his 7th Congressional District seat to run for governor next year, is to meet with Mesa County Republicans in party events and be the keynote speaker for the Associated Builders and Contractors on Friday night. He also is planning a tour of Main Street in Grand Junction on Saturday morning and an appearance in Delta later that day."
