Colorado Pols: "Some big Republican donors are trying to talk gubernatorial candidate Marc Holtzman into running for state treasurer rather than duking it out with Congressman Bob Beauprez for the GOP nomination (and risk weakening whichever one of them makes it out of the primary), and the early word is that Holtzman is giving the idea some thought."
Update: Mark Holtzman issues a pretty strong denial of the story above, on the Pols weblog, "I have no interest in the Treasurer position or any office other than Governor."
