Philosophical Investigations: "Christopher Robinson & Joseph Duemer read Wittgenstein's Philosophical Investigations" A log concept similar to ODB. I'll be interested to see how it develops.  10:17:43 PM  permalink

CORRECTED: Airline Says In-Flight Toilet Ordeal Story False: "A spokeswoman for Scandinavian Airline System (SAS) said a report of a woman being stuck on an airplane toilet was false."Now I can stop eyeing the airline toilet with so much respect.  9:17:42 PM  permalink

Epictetus. "Preach not to others what they should eat, but eat as becomes you, and be silent." [#] [Adam Curry: CurryDotCom] The philosophy of the Stoics plays a pivotal role in the plot of "A Man in Full". This is, after all, the news page for a "philosophical action site".  8:25:40 PM  permalink

Back from yet another trip to Europe. On the trip home, I had a chance to look through the Radio.root from Radio 7 that I have on the hard drive. I recognize some of the examples from the first times I played with Frontier, before it became commercial and Radio became the widely available tool.

On the trip I finished Tom Wolfe's "A Man in Full". I also got most of the way through Malcolm Gladwell's "The Tipping Point". Reading the latter is part of my research into Systems Theory for ODB. I also got an Amazon order with William Dettmer's Breaking the Constraints to World-Class Performance" which is an exploration of Goldratt's Theory of Constraints. It's been useful in placing TOC into the context of Systems Theory. Keep an eye on ODB for more.  8:15:05 PM  permalink
