The carpet is in and the computer is setup again. The blog rolls, so I thought I'd get a picture of the moment deep in this morning.

Computer Setup - The Sequel - Live (Almost) from Casa Chaos

That's me. Reading my own blog. How appropriate.

Jeff F. has been reading here though, and joined the life-in-5 shareathon (except he's living much larger than I, so 6 words is OK)...

"Life is Landing In My Lap"

From our discussion, he seems to be feeling on the up-side when those things fall from the sky. In my case, the carpet arrival on Wednesday did loosen things up a bit, spurring tonight's session of court-yard clearage, guest room preppage, dining fixture restorage (yet to be hung), and computer setup sequelage. Pictures have been taken, but that's a bit much for this hour. It's amazing how much more like a real living situation it is when you can sleep in your own bed and plant your toes on soft carpet (when little one screams for milk at 3:04 in the morning). Yep, it's almost normal.

In progress currently, for those keeping score, is a concrete demolition for A/C plumbing, a vanity installation in the kids bathroom, and outlets / switches / face plates, oh my! Kitchen planning meeting Tuesday, vanity and fixtures in the Master and Guest baths soon, and many other episodes.

And the impending arrival of the notoriously homey Sinthia has us all in major fixer-upper mode. Maybe we'll restore a few closet doors, paint some murals, stick up some stars, do a little computer school. Should be fun. What, with our wonderful 5 guests from Chandler last weekend and dearest Sin showing up now, we might need to re-incorporate as...Hotel Chaos. Only it's this proprieter wailing the verse...
