Is This The Adam's Family or Benny Hill?

Here's what you can expect when Adam Curry and family shoot their own celebrity reality show (click the little speaker to see the video). Is it my imagination or did that horse just shit a shoe-er?

The Paper and The Weekend

Blessed to have some hours early this morning to go through the paper and share a little bit here. It really helps to just turn off the lights when the kids go to bed and do the same myself. Makes for a nice early rise and a bit of quiet. So I must send out thanks for that.

I love reading the entire paper. I don't read the whole thing, but being able to scan it all for those things that are of interest and then dive into everything going on around the world...right on. And this morning was a pretty clean sweep of it!

Opening day for micro-soccer today. Will be interesting to see how much a season of experience will have on dude's playing. Another thing to be thankful for in the pre-season has been two totally dedicated dad-coaches who are showing up and doing drills with the kids...so much more than last season. Today also includes an Outlaw-family get together. And hopefully I'll get caught up on laundry and getting our bedrooms organized a bit. Speaking of laundry, let's see if we can show-off one cool new-home features...the laundry chute...

From the master closet to the laundry room in one big drop. Now if there was only some snazzy way to get the clean clothes back up (other than via VO-stair-master).

AP: Pakistan Arrests Suspected al-Qaida

"Binalshibh, a roommate of hijacking leader Mohamed Atta in Germany, is believed by the FBI ( news - web sites) to have been intended as the 20th hijacker before he failed to enter the United States."

Bush Speaks, U.N. Lines Up, Negotiations Continue

Even after sending out the watch word yesterday, even I was amazed to read this morning how quickly members of the United Nations started lining up behind pushing Saddam out.

"Russia, after intensive consultations with American officials, issued an explicit warning to Iraq, saying Baghdad would face "consequences" for failing to cooperate with Security Council resolutions..." and "The European Union urged quick action by the Security Council, and Egypt and Jordan, which in the past have warned of the dangers of a confrontation with Iraq, put the onus on Mr. Hussein to allow inspectors full access to his country."

It will be interesting to follow how the other Arab states begin to change their stance, if they do.

Kaishu Tells of La Diosa Del Mar And Other Favorite Things

Shouts to Kaihsu Tai who used the comment [] link from Thursdays show to answer a question I posed during said show...

"la diosa del mar = the goddess of the sea"

People do listen, call, and post to The New Jazz Thing! Kaihsu seems to know a few things about language, based on his french-speaking excursion to Canada in 1999 and his disection of Taipei street signs. And Computer Simulation of Molecules and Processes in the Synapse. I'd love to hear what he has to say about Jazz....hint, hint, comment []...
