I will go to the San Diego Museum of Art to seek out this painting by Richard Diebenkorn at the museum's I-5 exhibit.

Richard Diebenkorn was an enigmatic California painter in the 50's through the 80's. His work explores contours. His paintings are large and colorful and the faces of his subjects are unrecognizable. I love the simplicity that large oddly shaped patched of color bring to his world - everything seems exactly as it should be.
