Off to the coast for the weekend. I'm taking the digital camera, and an open head, so I expect inspiration to come flooding in.

points to a great internet adaptation of the old science book
and movie, Powers of Ten.
This is a classic illustration of the vast range of scale in our
world as you zoom in from 10+23 meters,
showing intergalactic space, to 10-15 meters, where you can imagine that you can make out detail inside a proton in 37 order of magnitude size steps.
