M13, a globular cluster:

SpaceTramp's description of a star cluster made me think I was outside under dark skys and nostalgic for the days, years ago, when the sky from my yard, just south of Phoenix was dark enough to see very faint stars. Of course back then I didn't have a digital camera, so I made a series of these pictures white, yellow, blue and regular pencils with Sharpie pens for the background. A full color picture like this took about half an hour of peering through a 4.7mm eyepiece on a 6" f/5 Schwar dobsonian telescope, and drawing by the light of a tiny LED lamp.
