Dave Winer echos a post by Michael Gartenberg: "If Watergate were happening today..." Yeah. Like that could happen. The lessons of Watergate were well learned. The one side no longer treats 'executive privlige' as a hands off condition, and the other side no longer makes tape recordings. Gartenberg presumes that covert communications would be done via email. Oh, if only they would.
