iTunes Sales Continue to Fall [slyck.com, thanks to Michael Swaine]

They appear to be down to 52,000 per day as of July 22. It will be interesting to see where things settle.

I definitely bought more iTunes music at first, to experiment with it. For example I thought it would be interesting to get "Wild Thing" versions by X, Jimi Hendrix, and the Troggs.

One thing I've found, the sound quality is not as good as the relatively high-bit-rate mp3's I normally use. So if I want a whole album, and I'm not in a hurry, I find that I still usually get it via Amazon and manually import it into iTunes. This is for no other reason than sound quality.
