Went to see Matrix Reloaded yesterday and I have to say it was a big disappointment. I was prepared to see mostly action scenes that couldn't have surprising special effects, I was not prepared to see the lack of significant symbolism in the movie. The movie ripped off power structures from Star Wars, so the Hackers ended up in a military/cult hierarchy. Considering how hard it is for Hackers to work in hierarchies, I think Zion should have fall and I was surprised it had fall only five time already.
How bad do I think this movie is? Well, for one, I don't want to see it again. Also, I remember only one phrase from the movie (Comprehension is not a requisite for cooperation) and I think that phrase describes the betrayal of the movie to its Hacker origins. How does a Hacker answer to that statement? The answer in reloaded was submissive silence.
No, the orgy and sex scenes (if they can be called that) were not enough to satisfy me...
