I would partner with Gateway and Apple, I would abandon the workstation market and offer companies a complete package. I would develop StarOffice for the Mac and make gains in that market. I would pitch to companies saying: "We have the best servers, the best server OS and now you get to choose. You want Windows/Office? You'll get Gateways, but StarOffice and Linux are options. You want Office, but not Window? You'll get Macs and StarOffice is still an option". I would prep Macs and Gateway machines with my graphic cards and sell them to niche markets. I will keep the thin clients but bundle them with cheap Intel servers running Windows. If the client wants Windows, they'll get it. I would make peace with Microsoft and stop seeing business as a war. Profits are important.
