When the Computer Opens the Closet. For many women who marry gay men, the truth comes out late at night, not in the bedroom but in front of the family's computer screen. By By JANE GROSS. [The New York Times > Technology]
This is an issue of carelessness. I have seen people with little computer experience take care of the most obvious things, thus taking care of the non professional snoop. Still if you use your computer for something you don't want people to know about, you have to make sacrifices. You have to compromise and work harder at keeping the clues off sight.

Venezuelan audit confirms victory. Venezuela's electoral officials say an audit of the vote on President Hugo Chavez's rule shows no evidence of fraud. [BBC News | News Front Page | UK Edition]
No real surprise here, except for the rhetorical "how did they do it?" discussion in which this blog will not participate (except in the comments, je, je). Now the real issue is what to do at next month regional elections... Here is the complement of my previous proposition: Hold a parallel election. If we are 60% and they are 40%, then the lines will be noticeably different. At the end each side will win all the posts, but with different numbers. Of course, this plan needs a sense of unity, intelligence, and organization not common in this backward country... Time for plan "B"... Any job offers from abroad?
