Pedro points in the comments to this article which to me stresses the stupidity of typical american thinking about this topic. Even in the short quote in the article one can guess the intention of the EU commission. Once again, having a monopoly is not ilegal, but extending a monopoly to other markets is... Get it? Hence Apple that does not have any monopoly (reducing the market of music sellers to online music sellers is, well, cheating and acting absurd, since most people get their music outside of the online world) is allowed to do things that Microreally$ucks can't.
