Got a friend that got bitten hard by product activation. He is visiting family in Venezuela. His laptop stop connecting to the internet, just at the moment that Micro$ucks decided that it was the right time to do an activation (Windows XP was already activated in his laptop). Without connection to the internet he had to do it by phone. Unfortunately the phone number listed in the Windows activation screen does not work. Neither he nor I know how to call collect to the other (international) number. Conclusion? He'll get a Mac when he gets back to the US next week... Luckily for him, he can! Why do people put up with this? 1:30:13 PM  What do you think? ( Thoughts) Who linked? []
