Columnist downplays Tiger features, "innovation" [The Macintosh News Network]
I guess some people live in a fantasy world of denial. Simple things
like Netwrok locations and start up applications are so vastly better
in Mac OS X than in XP as to prove that this guy hasn't used these
systems extensively. Tiger is way ahead of XP. But don't take my word
for it. Go to an Apple store tell them you are a Windows user thinking
of switching. Tell them what you do with your computer and ask them how
that can be done in a Mac. Ask them to explain Network Locations and
Start Up applications. Go back home and try to do those two things in
your XP Box. Now, don't be a lemming... Make up your own mind.

The grand opening of a new post office
at a United States air base in South Korea was postponed, and a nearby
shopping mall evacuated, when a mail-scanning device mistook a package
of sauerkraut for a dangerous chemical.
Hey! Sauerkraut is a dangerous chemical! No mistake there...
