AMD sues Intel for monopolistic practices. AMD has sued Intel for anticompetitive practices, charging that they are abusing a monopoly to lock AMD out of the market.

So, Apple's new partner is getting sued for monopolistic practices. I believe they are a monopoly: High market share, High entry barriers. I also believe they are using their monopoly to keep and extend its control of the market. That's illegal, but in the current US legal climate the big company is always right.

My Powerbook G4 is having problems. I may not post for a while. I got a Kernel Panic this morning and have gotten several since. I checked the disk and it's Ok. I have a back up from last sunday so I am really not every much concerned, except it may be hardware. It is the 3rd time I've had to reinstall the system since I bought the Titanium PB in 2001 (not counting the times I had to change machines), but it is the first time that it is not my fault.
