The second part of Patricia Poleo Article relates the happenings in Miraflores on Friday 12 and saturday morning. They not only betrayed the workers union, but also the military allies. Several persons pointed out the mistakes and flagrant illegality of the coup, but by the time they convinced Pedro Carmona Estanga, Isaac Perez and Daniel Romero it was too late. What a pity. Ambition again frustrates the will of the people.

The general impression in Venezuela is that neither Secretary Gaviria, nor the OAS itself cares about Venezuela. They don't care about the crimes and human right violations committed here, they are more interested in putting the US to shame. I'm not sure I agree.
Yesterday on television ex secretary of interior Luis Miquilena, cut all his ties with Chavez and said that Chavez wouldn't have amounted to anything, not even a small town sheriff, if it wasn't for Miquilena. Ouch.
