Lots of rumors this week with the big march next thursday. There are reports that Chavez made a deal with Bush. Bush won't arrange a coup against Chavez, Chavez will give oil to Bush. Good deal for the americans, it seems, but look to them getting screwed, when, in the middle of a war with Iraq, Chavez announces the stopping of oil shipments to the US.

The government says a coup is being planed anyway. My personal take is that there are about 30 different coup plans. The conspirators pass each other and say Are you with the coup?; Hell, yeah. We will attack the main National Guard station; No, no, no... that was cancel! You have to attack the air force in Maracay instead... and that's how coups fail...

The government looks very desperate with a lot of fake emails presumably from known opposition journalist criticizing the opposition. They look so fake is not even funny. Of course, the reason for all the desperation is the last poll. That proves what I've been saying all along. Two halves of Venezuela are fighting according to most people and we are heading for civil war... wrong! two small groups (about 12-13% each) are fighting for power. The majority of venezuelans want peace and progress. This is the Third Half and we will prevail.
