 Signs of Life - The expectant ewe gave birth last night to two beautiful little lambs. According to Rachel [age 7] they are "just like toy ones."
So far the lambs are unnamed, although the kids are trying hard to pick appropriate names for them. Suggestions such as Rover and Henny Penny abound. Perhaps the assimilation into the country isn't going as smoothly as I first thought.
It is a little unclear who owns these lambs. Even though the sheep were split between Sue and her brother, I think Sue's parents still have dibbs on the Wiltshires - and I guess their offspring.
Anyways, I know who will be filling the water trough!
