I agree with this 100%.  There are two programming models for WSDL. 1. Create the Web service implementation then generate a WSDL from it, 2. create the WSDL then generate the Web service implementation from it. The first is what every Web service toolkit does to "make it easier" on developers.  The second approach is what developers should be doing, at least IMHO.

A rough draft of a WSDL description for the Blogger API.  Whipped this up in about ten minutes so there are probably bugs.
