Stamp out HTTP?: So which is best: rebuilding the engine on the car or rebuilding the entire car? The answer is: it depends on the circumstances. For the most part, I'd say that there is very little reason right now to rebuild the entire car from the ground up. Speaking from an engineers point of view, however, it sure would be fun to do :-). Eventually, we'll get to a point where it makes more sense to build a new car than to keep patching up the old one, and we'll finally move on.

Sam: "Got reelected. Mustn't have pissed too many people off." I'm a firm believer in the philosophy that if you're not pissing people off, you're not doing your job properly. Progress has a direct relationship with pissed-off people.

Sounds like Sam is having too much fun at the interop event. Good thing IBM allows us to have fun now or else he'd be in trouble ;-)
