I'm back, well, not really, but at least able to be back at some point in the future: Did you have a nice week?  I've finally moved onto, and today moved Radio (comments? templates? anything not screwed up?) onto, my new computer (which I'm glad to say I bought at the peak, or rather the trough, of low PC prices — the $699 system I found on sale for $649 in mid-February is now $799, and vendors are stiffing consumers with 128MB instead of 256MB of memory again).

But I must apologize for what'll probably be a continuing lightness of content: depressed before and utterly listless since Lisa's death (I mean, Nerd Boy for Two Decades buys a new PC and can't be bothered to set it up for two months??); seriously underproductive and in trouble at work; despondent over the "death to Arabs," "anyone with any qualms about killing three Palestinian civilians for every killed Israeli civilian is a pro-terrorist murderer" insanity (I mean, lionizing not just Sharon but Netanyahu?  Mr. Hatred himself?) that's turned the virtual world into a firestorm and will soon do the same for the real world, despite the few heroic holdouts or rational voices like Burningbird.

And do you want the capper?  Friday and next week I failed to get out of jury duty and voir dire and will be Juror #2, sitting in the box hearing a civil case instead of working, let alone Weblogging.  I knew I shouldn't have worn a jacket and looked intelligent.
