How many UserLand logo GIFs, links, and nitwit coffee mug icons does Radio put on your pages, anyway? I've rooted out most of them in recreating or re-customizing my main and home page templates, but unwanted logos, colors, and defaults crop up in back issues or posts accessed via the calendar at right. (No, I didn't delete and am perfectly willing to display the one Radio badge at the bottom of the navbar, but when I buy a car I negotiate with the dealer that I'll accept his name on a license plate frame but not a logo affixed to the trunk lid.)
Off to jury duty tomorrow and next week, and off to Massachusetts and Vermont to cheer for my nieces at school activities the next two weekends (so I can't work weekends to make up for the court — after a miserable slump and drought of products to review / content to generate, things are actually falling into place to get back on track or for me to let down my bosses less at work, but it's starting to feel like Job's own conspiracy, or I'm sure to my bosses a string of slacker excuses — vowed to edit some stuff on the PC last night, and we had a three-hour power failure). Send good wishes and support to Shauny, who like Erin has written bravely about fighting depression and feeling beaten down at work, and to Jonathon, whose diet of "vegemite, sardines, lamb, and potatoes" has made not only him but all who read about it feel decidedly sick.
