Microsoft has finally come up with a workable approach to pen-based personal computers, with the new Window XP Tablet PC Edition software launching today.
Tablet PC hardware will be offered by several big computer makers, including Hewlett-Packard and Toshiba, at prices ranging from $1,700 to $2,400.
