ProSoundNews Online Daily - Prism Sound Releases DSD Processor Module and SuperMAC Interface for ADA-8 Converters 'Ease of use is achieved with the new SuperMAC interface, a single-cable industry standard.
The processor-module also supports high-quality conversions between PCM and DSD formats. The DSD capability will allow new and existing ADA-8 users to take advantage of the developing market for SACD production and mastering.' Interesting. Prism was among the makers of very high end ADCs and DACs. They went after a bigger market with the ADA-8 and I don't think they matched what they had in the earlier converters in terms of analogue design.
