The VSX-55TXi and VSX-53TX receivers provide a multichannel acoustic calibration system (MCACC) for accuracy in multichannel sound reproduction. The calibration system works by measuring the acoustic characteristics of the listening area and neutralizing the ambient characteristics that can "color" the original source material.' A bit pricey for Joe Blow but very good news nonetheless. |
