RAW, iPhoto, and Mac OS X
iPhoto does an excellent job of breaking digital photography's chain of pain, that is, as long as the files are JPEGs or TIFFs. That's because iPhoto does not support RAW files, at least not directly. If your current workflow depends on iPhoto, you might be feeling left out in the cold with all the current hub-bub about using RAW capture. Don't. Reporting on widespread adoption of high-speed wireless Internet access, Laurie J. Flynn writes in the New York Times, It has been more than four years since Apple Computer began building Wi-Fi capability into its iBook notebooks, becoming the first major PC maker to broadly adopt the new technology. Since then, Apple has grabbed a considerable share of the Wi-Fi market and has led a trend that shows no signs of slowing.
