First with Wi-Fi

Flynn writes in the New York Times, “It has been more than four years since Apple Computer began building Wi-Fi capability into its iBook notebooks, becoming the first major PC maker to broadly adopt the new technology. Since then, Apple has grabbed a considerable share of the Wi-Fi market and has led a trend that shows no signs of slowing. Today a Macintosh user can get online wirelessly at Starbucks coffeehouses and Borders Book Stores, or at any number of hotels.” [May 4] [Apple Hot News]
