'Fahrenheit 9/11' Wins Top Prize at Cannes
"Fahrenheit 9/11," Michael Moore's critique of the Bush administration's foreign policies, won the Palme d'Or at Cannes. [New York Times: International] I suspect the jury is rewarding politics instead of film making. That's fine by me. Europeans (and the rest of the world) are just hugely relieved that someone in the US is speaking out against Bush.
