U.S. Dream Team shot down - again
As a measure of how the mighty have fallen, the once-invincible Americans arrived in Greece with an unblemished 107-0 record.
Saturday's victory was a measure of revenge for Lithuania as a last-second three-point attempt from Sarunas Jasikevicius fell short in a semifinal loss to the U.S. at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
This time, however, Jasikevicius was on target, scoring three consecutive three-pointers, including one on a four-point play, as the Lithuanians rallied from a three-point deficit with 2:47 remaining.
Great, great shooting at the end. And of course it's great to see the 'Dream Team' get creamed.

The Canadian crew contended for gold the entire race, but were nipped at the finish by Great Britain. The result came down to a photo finish, with the British boat winning the gold by a razor-thin margin of.08 seconds. A very exciting race. It actually didn't feel to bad to come second in this one.

Mexican mezcal battles nasty firewater image
Many mezcals from small-scale artisan distilleries in villages like Santiago Matatlan in the southern state of Oaxaca are now in hot demand in the United States, Asia, and Europe.
"We are at least doubling, maybe tripling, our exports every year," said Douglas French, a U.S. entrepreneur who lives in Oaxaca and produces mezcal with a team of Zapotec Indian distillers in the village of San Agustin de las Juntas.
The best mezcals have a smooth smokey taste and a sharper defined agave flavor than tequila, aficionados say.
