Virex is out, Virex is in
As most .Mac members now know, McAfee recently released a new version of Virex, called (unsurprisingly) Virex 7.5. Under this simple version change hide profound transformations. Canada has doubts over Olympic vault results
Canadian coach Tony Smith told CBC because of his missed vault, Dragulescu's score of 9.325 was technically "impossible." Smith immediately objected the scoring, but his protest was denied.

CBC Sports: Canada's Verbeek wins wrestling silver
Canadian Tonya Verbeek lost her gold-medal wrestling bout on Monday but felt every bit the winner after taking silver at the Olympic debut of her sport.
"Amazing. Overwhelming. Not really sure how to digest it all, but just really happy to be a part of this," Verbeek told CBC's Ron MacLean.

Mac OS X Tiger to support resolution independent UI, larger icons
The new Quartz-driven technology will soon let users choose between viewing more detail (more pixels per point, but fewer points on the screen) or a larger user interface (fewer pixels per point but more points on the screen) without altering the resolution of the computer's display.
