Jewish groups are protesting the publishing by the newspaper, The Arab Voice of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in its August editions.

Israel showed off a battery of Arrow anti-missile missiles in an effort to deter Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein from attacking Israel if the US invades to remove him from power.

Microsoft has introduced Windows XP Tablet PC edition, which runs on a selection of tablet PCs, produced by various manufacturers. Many have built-in wireless capabilities. Unfortunately since they are basically laptops with a large touchscreen in place of a regular screen and keyboard they are quite expensive.

Walter S. Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal’s Tech Section has a generally negative review of the current version of the operating system and tablets introduced.

But having a Star Trek like pad would be cool!

A Reuters article reports that former Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres stated that the United States had no choice but to take military action against Iraq and that any postponement would only make the situation worse. Peres mentioned Iraq’s possession of chemical, and biological weapons and attempts to get nuclear weapons.

The French ambassador to Israel stormed out of a meeting with the families of missing Israeli soliders kidnapped by the Hezbollah when the families suggested that France’s contacts with Hezbollah could be used in this manner.

Hate TV

The Anti-Defamation League has an introduction to the Czarist secret police’s hoax, The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion which helped fuel the hate that lead to the Holocaust and now receiving a television treatment in Egypt as the Horseman without a Horse.

The group has urged the US government and Arab governments to take action to prevent this broadcast of hate.
