The Observer’s Richard Ingrams has decided that when it comes to discussing the Middle East Jews should just shut-up. He states:

I have developed a habit when confronted by letters to the editor in support of the Israeli government to look at the signature to see if the writer has a Jewish name. If so, I tend not to read it.

Isn't the writer's arguments important, not their background? Is he afraid that he will start to understand a pro-Zionist, pro-Israel point of view? Is he just scared to think out of his narrow minded box?  (via LGF)

PC Magazine looks at home entertainment hubs which are smaller devices situated adjacent to your television and home theatre system that use a network connection to stream pictures, video, and music from a regular computer which would look out of place in such a location.

Haaretz reports that a top government official with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's entourage in London said Tuesday that retired IDF colonel Elhanan Tannenbaum, who was kidnapped by Hezbollah three years ago, is alive but in poor health. Ignoring the Geneva Convention the terrorist group refuses to allow any contact with Tannenbaum or give information on three kidnapped Israeli soldiers who are believed to be dead.

Meanwhile kidnapped taxi driver Eliyahu Gurel was freed by Israeli special forces from a town west of Ramallah after an undercover arrested four people involdved in the plot and one revealed the cabbie’s location.
