Return of LOTR New Line Cinema has announced plans to release the previously DVD only extended edition versions of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers in December prior to the December 17th release of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. The limited release in about 100-150 theatres will climax in a December 16 daylong marathon, during which all three films will be shown back-to-back-to-back. 8:07:05 PM
