Torcon 3 Report - Day 3
- I got books signed by Terry Pratchett , George R.R. Martin, S.M. Stirling and bought a signed book from Scott Mackay.
- George R.R. Martin’s Guest of Honour speech was excellent and full of moving details.
- Of the six Hugo award categories I voted in, two of my choices – Best Short Story and Best Dramatic Presentation – Short Form won.
- At the Keep Flying Firefly suite I saw "Heart of Gold", which is one of the unaired Firefly episodes – really good. The DVD was an fan verison that Fox TV was okay with them showing, real verisons will be out in December. Much talk but no details of a Firefly movie.
