Forget about 'that' article

Apparently the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio forgot to include the article in the Cleveland Jewish News that describes how an speaker invited to the college used the opportunity to spread blood libel and hate against Jews and that the college doesn’t seem to care in its media listing. Blogs may not have helped Howard Dean in the end, but they may have decisively helped former state Attorney General Ben Chandler win a congressional district special election in Kentucky by allowing for large amounts of money to be raised through targeted ads to Democratic leaning individuals.

Space Race?

CNN reports that in a possible response to US President Bush’s Mars vision and the US plans for a manned craft called the Crew Exploration Vehicle to replace the Space Shuttle, Russian engineers have begun design work on a new spacecraft that would be twice as big and spacious as the existing Soyuz crew capsules. It states the new craft will be able to carry at least six cosmonauts and have a reusable crew section. The craft would be used to travel to International Space Station, which has a three-person crew, down from the originally planned seven.

An pro-Zionist article slips by the editors

Maybe somebody in the offices of The Guardian will read this article by one of their staffers.

Writing about a Jewish family in Israel from the former Soviet Union, Linda Grant quotes one of the family members as saying:

"The European left has still not apologised for believing the propaganda about the Soviet Union instead of the facts, which were there for all to see. All the actions of anti-Zionism now have their prototype in the Soviet Union. Our daughter tried to apply for a PhD in the US and she was told, 'This university is good for Israelis, this one isn't.' It's just like the Soviet Union: 'This university is good for Jews, this one isn't.' Nothing has changed in that respect."
