They might overcome the record labels' resistance, but I doubt that music fans' attitudes will be affected. Copy-protection is a bad idea, even to us non-pirates that like to use what we buy. Maybe they ought to work on limiting how many times we may listen to a CD, too, so that we'll have to to buy it again (and again) if we really like the music. I'm sure the record labels would love the idea. Stupid bastards!

I find it interesting that the site newsfeeds has 170 users subscribing to it, even though it hasn't been updated since November, 2001. Perhaps that says something about how one misses out by never actually visiting the websites one "reads" in a news aggregator...
