Horst talks about motivation (via Wis(s)e Words) and I have to say I agree with him. What I don't get is why someone would choose to ruin their website with over-sized pop-up ads for a measly 50 bucks a month (ruined to hardnosed people like me, anyway). But, what I really appreciate about Horst's entry today is the link to this amusing interview which I somehow missed last month... ;~))
Afterthoughts (2:35 PM): "Whataya mean a measly 50 bucks?" Yeah, I know that's a lot of money to some people, myself included. I have to respect that, though it seems a little petty to me. "Who are you to tell someone else not to use pop-ups?" I am nobody. But, many people avoid sites with overly-intrusive advertising. It's useful to know that.

Customers 'named and shamed' on web. EasyCar¸ part of Stelios Haji-Ioannou's easyGroup empire¸ is publishing pictures online of people who fail to return cars on time. [BBC News]
That would be the same easyGroup that's going after a small art company's website for using "easy" in its domain name.
