Flashguru Back!
Flashguru is finally back online - obviously there's some stuff going on behind the scenes and when the lawyers get involved it's best to keep mouths closed and hope justice takes it's course. I hope we get the real story when the dust clears but for the record sending emails out while the accused has no means of reply is just not cricket...

OT: Science Fiction Cornucopia
I've read an amazing succession of fantastic science fiction books lately, I'd highly recommend you pick up any of these books
- Metaplanetary - Tony Daniels
- Kiln People - David Brin
- Altered Carbon - Richard Morgan
- The Chronoliths - Robert Charles Wilson
- The Collected Short Stories of Vernor Vinge - Vernor Vinge
- Redemption Ark - Alastair Reynolds
- The Skinner - Neal Asher
It's been a long time since I've read so many great books one after the other, they're all essential reads. Special mention must go to Altered Carbon - I just couldn't believe this was Richard Morgans first novel!! Looks like Hollywood couldn't either as I read they've optioned the novel for over a million, breaking the record for a first novel

OT: Mail Outage
