"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children - not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time." -- JFK

Dildos in the guvment gloated that they had forced North Korea to blink. The brave Republican Corporate Media struck up the chorus.

That's a real smart way to deal with North Korea.

The only thing smarter would be if our Beloved Leader -- a mental pygmy -- were to call their Great Leader a pygmy. Oh, I forgot....

But seriously... how do a bunch of draft-dodging keystone cops get written up as being foreign policy experts?

In a country with a shred of public accountability, half the junta would have been forced to resign by now, starting with His Dimness and His Darkness.

OK. I'm turning the rant switch to off.

It's *remarkable* how many leading Democrats served in the military -- and fought in Vietnam -- versus how few leading Republicans served. The military is hooked up to a bunch of draft-dodgers.
