"What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children - not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women - not merely peace in our time but peace for all time." -- JFK

Did you see video of The Dimwit threatening Syria and Iran?

That is one *scary* looking f.

[7:53:49 PM]
And another thing....

Krugman outs another story that the Corporate Media have tried to drown: that revealing a CIA agent in retaliation against her husband is not only ugly, it's also a crime.

Who at the White House perpetrated this crime against national security? Since there are two sources, do we have a conspiracy? Did Karl or Condi direct two subordinates to break the law? Was it just a wink-and-nudge?

The story is that the agent worked on WMD issues. From this, we know the priorities of the Bush administration: retaliation and intimidation come before the safety of the American people.

Bring us their heads!

[7:07:10 PM]
"Did Saddam Hussein have a weapons program? And the answer is absolutely. And we gave him a chance to allow the inspectors in, and he wouldn't let them in."

You could say this is just the Dimwit being the Dimwit.

But is it important that the Dimwit has a poor grasp on reality? If he gives wrong information to the American people, that's a problem, even if it is because he is a dimwit.

But imagine people who work for Bush.... How do you know whether he's having a dimwit moment, or if he actually believes what he's saying? What if Condi isn't there to tell you? People in leadership positions should speak clearly and correctly, or employees spend their energy trying to figure out what the leader actually thinks -- instead of spending their energy fighting terrorists or planning for the aftermath of the Iraq war.

Bush is the worst president in history.

When you think about it, that really restores your faith in democracy: even with all his brother's election fraud in Florida, Bush did not get enough votes there to win, and only the Supreme Court's outrageous -- treasonous -- decision put Dims in power. Even the Bushites can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Mountainview (licentious) -- In another gang-land style assassination, Netscape was offed like some British WMD inspector. Netscape was taken for a walk, pumped with over-the-counter drugs, and slashed at the wrists. The leading suspect in the case was found with $750 million from Microsoft in his pocket.

Asked if he would launch an independent, thorough investigation of the slaying, Attorney General John Ashcroft said, "What... do I look like some left-wing British girly-man?"

The $750 million price tag for the murder was a stark reminder of just how cheap American politicians come -- Ashcroft himself received only $25,000 from Microsoft before he "knifed the baby" -- the Microsoft anti-trust action. The American people should be proud that our corrupt corporate leaders are orders of magnitude more expensive than our corrupt political leaders.

The Microsoft anti-trust settlement established an independent oversight committee that is empowered to -- drum roll -- mention any possible anti-trust issues to Microsoft attorneys, though committee members are specifically prohibited from mentioning such issues to the public. Sources hypothesize that the committee may have mentioned that paying a competitor three quarters of a billion dollars to kill off its competing product *might* have anti-trust implications. But we'll never know.

In a shocking re-run of a bad movie, Bill Gates was videotaped dancing a jig when he was given the news.

Are you tired of reading about another one, two, or three Americans killed in Iraq every day? I am.

It gives me great comfort to know that Our Beloved Leader is having a good vacation while these Americans are dying. I wouldn't want to think that even one dead American soldier would interupt His vacation. We, the people, will mourn, so He doesn't have to. Anything for Dubya.

[10:37:30 AM]
Whether or not conquering Iraq was a good idea, the post-war debacle is an absolute shame on the people of the United States. Hubris is the simplest explanation for the utter failure to prepare for the aftermath of the war.

Bring us their heads!

Rumsfeld should be forced out. He had a plan. The plan was to secure the oil fields, but not the nuclear facility. I don't care what excuse the Bushites puke up, they should be held accountable for not securing the nuclear materials. In fact, they could never justify leaving the nuclear material unguarded. Where are the Democrats? Where are the media?

True geniuses at work:

"I think all foreigners should stop interfering in the internal affairs of Iraq" --Paul Wolfowitz

"The President is not a fact checker." ROFL. That just about says it all, now doesn't it?
