Net Monitor v2.3b1
- Net Monitor graphs network interface throughput in a floating window, the Dock or the Menu Bar. It also controls PPP connections, including status reporting. Among the changes, this version adds a delayed launch AppleScript for users experiencing crashes when Net Monitor is set as login item.

Bill Cheeseman: Note on Doyle 1 project files
- On Thursday, May 2, we announced that the source files for Bill Cheeseman's MacTech Magazine article, "Implementing an Application Preferences System", were available for download at The AppleScript Sourcebook. Bill offers the following advice for those who have downloaded the files.
"When you decompress the StuffIt Deluxe archive after downloading it, one of the project files may have the name "PreferencesController.app#4E8E3." You should manually change it to "PreferencesController.applescript" before opening the project in Project Builder. This is due to an apparent bug in StuffIt Deluxe involving long file names, over which we have no control."
