Plymouth, Mass. The crew of the ship did not haave enough beer to get to Virginia
and back to England so they dropped the Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock to preserve
their beer stock.
1866 -- Warriors of The great Sioux Nation led by Red
Cloud & Crazy
Horse killed Captain
William J. Fetterman & 79 other U.S. Cavallrymen. Fetterman
once boasted, "Give me 80 men and I'll march through the whole Sioux nation!" So
when Lakota warriors led by Red Cloud gathered round Fort
Phil Kearny (in what
is now Wyoming), Fetterman got command of his 80 men. Disobeying the orders
of his commander, Colonel Henry B Carrington, not to proceed beyond the Lodge
Trail Ridge, Fetterman pursued a band of retreating Indians--and rode right
into a waiting trap, allegedly laid by the Oglala warrior Crazy Horse. Fetterman,
his executive officer and 78 troopers were wiped out. The U.S. Army never defeated
the Sioux. Instead, the U.S. Government signed The Fort LaramieTreaty of 1868
vowing to honor The Great Sioux Nation. In dishonor, the government soon broke
most of the promises stipulated in the treaty.
1974 -- "NY Times" reports massive, illegal CIA

Then there's the governator who continues his muscle-headed tactics, now against
what he'd have us believe are the great foes of world society, the teachers
unions. Careful folks. If some Republicans have their way, Governor Tough Guy
will be the Repug's 2008 candidate for La Casa Blanca.

Last week, California Governor Arnold
Schwarzenegger garnered another round
of media attention by denigrating a group protesting outside of a conference
at which he was speaking. "Pay no attention to those voices," the
muscleman governor told the audience at the conference. "Those are special
interests. They're just angry because I kick their butts everyday." ...The
governor uses his rather sophisticated brand of self-mocking, self-parodying
machismo to present the image of a take-charge, independent-minded, no-politics-as-usual,
principled public servant. Unfortunately, the reality is that he is a blustering,
corporations-first, favor-returning servant of Big Business. So, why should
you feel outrage? First, about those special interests whom the governor so
heroically confronts: They are the California Nurses Association...

The Neo-Robber Barons, who made their plans to invade Iraq long before
9/11/01, & who
have successfully convinced so many Americans, despite the facts, that Saddam
was involved in the WTO attacks, would now have us all believing that Kofi
Anon & the UN are as dishonest as, oh, Kenny Boy Lay & Tricky Dick
Cheney. Don't believe it my friends. Here's a case in point.
Cheney, Halliburton Helped Saddam Fleece Oil for Food Program

...The oil-for-food program was supervised by the U.N. and ran from 1996
until the war started in Iraq last year. It was designed to alleviate the effects
sanctions had on Iraqi citizens by allowing limited quantities of oil to be
sold to buy food and medicine. But the one company that helped Saddam exploit
the oil-for-food program in the mid-1990s that wasn't identified in Duelfer's
report was Halliburton, and the person at the helm of Halliburton at the time
of the scheme was Vice President Dick
Cheney. Halliburton and its subsidiaries
were one of several American and foreign oil supply companies that helped Iraq
increase its crude exports from $4 billion in 1997 to nearly $18 billion in
2000 by skirting U.S. laws and selling Iraq spare parts so it could repair
its oil fields and pump more oil. Since the oil-for-food program began, Iraq
has sold $40 billion worth of oil. U.S. and European officials have long argued
that the increase in Iraq's oil production also expanded Saddam's ability to
use some of that money for weapons, luxury goods and palaces. Security Council
diplomats estimate that Iraq was skimming off as much as 10 percent of the
proceeds from the oil-for-food program thanks to companies like Halliburton
and former executives such as Cheney.

Last comes a Merry Christmas! From Congress, who recently passed the US
Intelligence Reform Bill, a 3000 page "law," which
was has nothing really to do with terrorists and everything to do with a
totalitarian police-state posing
as lawful government. The bill derives 100% of its alleged authority from the
pretended 14th amendment which was not ratified but was simply declared to
have been ratified by the executive
branch administration in 1868, the same
year the U.S. Government signed The Fort Laramie Treaty while holding crossed
fingers behind their backs (See todays History Section). For more on the 14th
amendment, see Congressional Record, June 13, 1967; Dyett v. Turner, (1968)

Homeland Security Now In charge of Regulations for all US Drivers Licenses & Birth
Certificates

In a chilling act more reminiscent of the now defunct Soviet Union or the
Nazi regime of Adolph Hitler, the United States Congress passed legislation yesterday
that requires the States to surrender their regulatory rights over driver's
licenses and birth certificates to The Department of Homeland Security.
The massive US Intelligence Reform Bill weighed in at over 3,000 pages and
though unread by individual Members of either the House or Senate nevertheless
passed all of the legislative hurdles needed in order to become law. President
Bush lobbied hard for these provisions, only objecting when Senator Sensenbrenner
attempted to require these same provisions for illegal aliens but which the
President opposed. This provision was dropped from the final bill. Beginning
in 2005, the Department of Homeland Security will issue new uniformity regulations
to the States requiring that all Drivers Licenses and Birth Certificates meet
minimal Federal Standards with regard to US citizen information, including
biometric security provisions.... ...Never before in our history have the words
of Benjamin Franklin been so correct when he stated: "people willing to
trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both".
Today, December 9, 2004 will be one of those moments in time that future historians
will look back on and pin point as being the day that the United States of
American, and as it was founded by its forefathers, ceased to exist.
