Game Geeks in Greece Will Flail in Jail

In Greece, use a Game Boy, go to jail. A new Greek law means that anybody carrying an electronic game--even one on a mobile phone--could face a hefty fine or lengthy jail sentence. [CNET News.com]

Basically, they wre trying to make electronic gambling illegal, and instead decided to make all electronic gaming illegal. Had I gone to Greece on my last vacation, I would have eneded up in jail for a very long time, as I had my phone (built in games), my Clie (loads of games), and my laptop with me (don't even get me started).

I am glad to see this tech being applied in the court. While there are concerns regarding the photos being doctored after the fact, they provide more detail than those taken with a Polaroid, and allow for more detail.

Tattoo To Monitor Diabetes [Slashdot]

This would serve as a means of monitoring all types of blood chemistry issues, with different sections of the tatto indicating different levels. Want to know if you're drunk, sneak a peek at the tattoo on your hip and know if you are OK to drive or not. Time to take your meds, check the tat on your inner bicep.

I am back from vacation, and while this week will be hectic, I'll try to get some quality time in here as well. Lots to catch up on, and a massive amount to get done this week as well. Time is precious, and I have much to do. See you all soon.
