Bell Labs?

Inspired by Mark's work with Google I searched Google for sites related to Bitworking. Nothing unusual except for the last link. Why does Google think there's a relation between me and Bell-Labs? [I have never linked to them, never mentioned them and didn't even link to them in this post.]

Who cares about Mozilla?

"Mozilla 1.0 Release Candidate 1 - Completed April 18, 2002" [Daypop Top 40] Yawn, does anyone really care? More-over, who would support the world's biggest monopoly - Time Warner AOL? [Sam Gentile]

I do Sam. For two reasons:

  1. Competition is good, and Mozilla is good competition for IE.
  2. Standards are good, and Mozilla has the best support for the W3C standards.

What I do not understand is the 'monopoly' part of your post. In what area are they a monopoly? (It is perfectly legal to be a monopoly in the U.S.) Are they trying to use that monopoly to gain a monopoly in other areas they do not have a monopoly? (That is illegal in U.S.)

Peter Drayton, Simon Fell and Ingo Rammer have announced a remoting project which includes an SMTP channel. Cool.
