Sophos buys antispam vendor ActiveState for $23 million

In hindsight, their efforts to rebrand themselves as an anti-spam
company was their VC's way of shouting "Exit Plan!" I wonder if the
spamassassin folks are next to be gobbled up?
Correction: By Spamassassin folks, I meant to say Matt Sergeant's company MessageLabs. I think I confused the person with the project because he's the CPAN author
