You can now access the file system of VMs without firing up the VM?
That will come in very handy for doing backups and using version control...
And, after I went through my migration of my
old desktop to a VM using free software, it turns out VMWare sells
a tool to do the same:

It always makes me nervous when they don't list a price -- that means
it's probably tailored towards bulk server consolidation.
