Back To Work In the past few days my posts have indicated what I do when I'm taking time off and not thinking about work (Books, Music, Movies) but tomorrow it's back to work.  I'm kind of looking forward to it... This afternoon, we met up with some friends of ours for Indian buffet at Kanishka restaurant in Redmond.  It was great but, boy, were we stuffed when we left.  Can't do this every week... 11:37:23 PM    comment []

Impulse Buy We were shopping in Target this evening and I noticed a new Kevin Smith DVD, An Evening With Kevin Smith.  Being fans of Kevin's movies, we picked it up. In my opinion and to my surprise, this is now my favorite Kevin Smith DVD (and we've only watched one of the two DVD's...).  Kevin is really in his element in front of an audience and his gift for telling a story is evident (My favorite so far is the story of the Superman script.  I was rolling on the floor.). The best way I can describe Kevin's appeal is that he's a regular guy who somehow has become a member of the American film industry.  But he hasn't changed from being a regular guy so he sees the absurdity in what's happened to him.  Couple this with his ability to tell the story and you have one fine DVD.  Recommended. 1:48:05 AM    comment []
