My recent Blog software outage caused me to go back to using the NewzCrawler program that I had played with the last time I had a Radio outage. I like it very much, especially the newest release. You can create a "newspaper" of a particular folder (the program lets you group feeds by folders and sub-folders which is the most useful feature) or you can make a "newspaper" of all the feeds you have if you want. The "newspaper" shows just the posts for the current day. Very nice.
Another thing you can do is export the feeds from just a particular folder. I'm going to make my legal folder match my Law Blog Outline (at least with the law blogs that have RSS feeds) and that way I can export and give them to whoever has Newzcrawler. So if any of you law bloggers have NewzCrawler and want to quickly import the law blog outline just let me know and I'll send you the file that you can quickly import.
NewzCrawler has many useful features, and is definitely worth the $25. You can try it for free for 14 days. Check it out.
Turns out that the problem was that rain got into the window (don't ask how) and shorted out the "actuator" (which controls the windows & sunroof) that is located in the driver door panel. This is what caused all of the car's orifices to open in the middle of the rain storm.
BMW didn't charge me to replace the actuator, and cleaned the car thoroughly. They were confident that the problem won't recur. I'm going to keep a snorkle in the car just in case.
I had tried Mozilla, but upon Rick Klau and TechTV's recommendation, I just downloaded Mozilla Firebird (free). Definitely, much faster. This is good.
